Wolfgang Jaekel has been photographing nature for more than 25 years. For a long time landscapes and macros have been his primary motifs. Within the last years the focus on wildlife has become more and more important too.
In 2002 he started with digital photography using a Canon D60 camera on the expedition voyage along the west coast of Greenland. You can see some of the images in the gallery. Since that time digital photography plays an important role though film has not been totally given up until today. For more informations on the equipment and photographic topics please use the link above.
Wolfgang's images are displayed in slide shows, digital presentations and exhibitions. His recent pictures and travel report of Svalbard are published in "Naturfoto" 8/2005.
